About the Role:

Join Yardi as a Technical Account Manager (TAM) and become an essential member of our newly formed team, dedicated to supporting our 300+ senior living clients! As a TAM, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming the Senior Living sector by providing expert guidance and technical support. You'll be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and deployment of our software, while also consulting with clients on product features, best practices, and customized solutions to meet their unique needs. Your expertise will drive operational improvements, address software issues, and ensure the successful setup and processing of claims with Medicaid and Medicare payers. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing industry while enhancing the client experience at Yardi.

What You'll Do:

  • Use your independent judgment to advise clients, implement best practices, and ensure the successful application of Yardi products.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to software end-users on system operations, including financial reporting, accounting, and daily business functions.
  • Act as a knowledge resource and escalation point for one or more user applications, troubleshooting complex cases, and sharing product insights with team members.
  • Independently resolve client cases, de-escalating issues and correcting them within the scope of current product functionality.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of your assigned product to identify recurring system issues and communicate necessary revisions and best practices.
  • Manage product implementations and conversions for clients, analyzing their operational needs to determine optimal system configuration.
  • Conduct data mapping and conversion, provide user training, and deliver additional services to ensure smooth software deployment.
  • Perform system and business process reviews to identify inefficiencies, offering sound recommendations for productivity improvements through Yardi software.
  • Oversee ongoing software integrations, maintenance, and updates in collaboration with clients.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve software functionality and reporting issues, escalating when necessary and determining the best support resources for resolution.
  • Prioritize client requests based on available resources and software functionality, recommending additional products or services that align with client needs and goals.
  • Build strong relationships with clients' primary points of contact, anticipating their questions and challenges while proactively seeking opportunities to learn more about their business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs, maintain exceptional customer service, and manage multi-product implementations.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of Yardi products, continually enhancing your understanding of software functions and offerings.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Management, or Healthcare.
  • Experience with setup and requirements for correct claim submission.
  • Familiar with national standards regarding electronic data exchange for claim submission and data responses.
  • Understanding of requirements for both the professional and institutional claim form types and data field details and requirements for submitting clean claims.
  • Must be familiar with both the institutional and professional claim form types.
  • Prior experience working in a customer support role setting and managing expectations.
  • Project management, accounting, property management, or healthcare background.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Phenomenal customer service skills and desire to go the extra mile.
  • You are a fast learner and can learn new concepts quickly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • High comfort level troubleshooting and problem-solving issues.
  • Great people skills and the ability to be personable and professional.
  • Flexible, and the ability to manage changing priorities.
Ideal to have:
  • Previous technical support and application troubleshooting.
  • Prior experience with Yardi software.
  • SQL, Basic server and web server knowledge.
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and/or Certified Professional Biller
  • Experience billing Medicare/Medicaid.
  • Experience in Assisted Living/Skilled Nursing Preferred.
