About the Role:
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment? As a Customer Service Representative I, you'll be the first point of contact for clients, website users, prospective residents, and current residents of apartment communities utilizing Yardi's products and services. You'll handle inbound calls, emails, and chats, providing information and support tailored to an assigned client group. Responsibilities include answering leasing inquiries, assisting with resident service requests, and offering web application guidance. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals eager to develop their skills while delivering outstanding support.
What You'll Do:
- Answer inbound phones in a high-volume call center environment
- Handle email or chat-based customer inquiries efficiently
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism, availability, dependability, and flexibility
- Deliver a highly professional customer service experience
- Handle service request/work order calls with efficiency and accuracy
- Process payments and handle billing inquires
- Positively represent our client properties to prospects and current residents
- Document all communications per established procedures; create and updates client records
- Develop knowledge of call center procedures, best practices, and assigned skill set
- Escalate issues to Team Leader when necessary
Who You Are:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Two (2) years of customer service experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and Internet Explorer
- Ability to communicate effectively, cooperatively, and persuasively
- Ability to nurture a cooperative, team-oriented environment
- Ability to treat all employees and clients with respect and dignity
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks within a fast-paced environment
- Determination and self-motivation
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including appropriate grammar and punctuation
- Attention to detail
