Description
The Section of Digestive Diseases, in the Department of Internal Medicine, at the Yale School of Medicine is recruiting a faculty position in gastroenterology, Academic Liver Hospitalist a faculty position who will focus on inpatient care of patients with liver disease. This position is for a full-time gastroenterologist at the rank of Assistant Professor who will be involved primarily with the inpatient practice of GI/hepatology and the teaching of clinical fellows on the Klatskin Liver Firm. In addition, the candidate will have the opportunity to participate in ambulatory outpatient hepatology consultative practice and endoscopy and will be encouraged to develop an academic career with a related clinical research or clinical education program.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a MD or MD/PhD and be board-eligible or board-certified in gastroenterology. Candidates must also have excellent clinical and research training in hepatology and gastroenterology. Salary and academic rank will be determined by previous experience.
