Wilson Health is looking for a direct hire PRN Office Coordinator for our Sleep Lab location in Sidney, Ohio (North Dayton, Ohio) area.

Working Hours: As Needed
Shift: 1st shift (8:00am. - 4:00 p.m.)
Position Reports to:  Director of Respiratory Services

Job Summary:  Assists, organizes, supports and maintains all non-clinical functions of the Wilson Health Sleep Center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Telephone answering, document retrieval, physician billing, and scheduling of diagnostic procedures.
  • Maintains the linen supply by performing tasks necessary to provide clean linens for each individual patient room.
  • Computer and word processing training and skills.
  • Processes all diagnostic reports.
  • Assist in department staff scheduling and patient scheduling and the arrangement and scheduling of meetings as directed by the department manager.
  • Assist in supply management including ordering, receiving, stocking, and inventory of all supplies utilized by the Wilson Sleep Center.
  • Coordinate flow of patient DME facilitation with the approved DME vendors
  • Maintains, copies, and organizes all department/patient forms.
  • Awareness of responsibilities and functions within the scope of hospital policies and procedures, disaster/fire manual and infection control manual.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned within scope of responsibility as the position evolves.
Qualifications:
  • Highschool diploma or GED required
  • Basic computer and office equipment skills required
  • Previous medical office experience or scheduling experience preferred
  • Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding preferred
