For a full description of benefit offerings, please visit: https://wellpower.org/workplace-of-choice/.</p> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide direct psychiatric services through comprehensive evaluation, diagnoses, and treatment of consumers from across the lifespan using a person-centered and trauma informed approach in support of optimal clinical outcomes and quality care</li> <li>Prescribe and administer medications, and assist consumers in their medication management with the goal of stabilizing severe and persistent mental health illnesses and/or acute self-limiting conditions (condition with a defined diagnosis, predictable outcome, and is not threatening to life or limb) while addressing social determinants of health</li> <li>Collaborate with team members from across mental health disciplines to maximize efficiency of psychiatric services</li> <li>Provide consultative support to staff, participate in staff meetings and conferences, and serve on committees.</li> <li>Provide coverage for psychiatric emergencies for consumers assigned to other providers, including mental health hold evaluations.</li> <li>Complete medical records and reports, provide needed letters in support of consumer's needs, and provide needed referrals to medical and substance use disorder services for psychiatric consumers</li> <li>Coordinate consumer care to support access to services, lab tests, case management, primary clinician, outreach services, inpatient services and other agencies related to consumer care.</li> <li>Maintain a trauma informed environment</li> <li>Other related duties as assigned by Chief Medical Officer, the direct supervisor and/or Program Manager.</li> </ul> <p><strong>EDUCATION: </strong>Master of Science Psychiatric Nursing.
