WellPower is seeking an organized, collaborative administrative professional who is passionate about diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) to fill the role of DEIB Education Coordinator. The DEIB Training & Education team is committed to ensuring that the organization's commitment to anti-racism, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging is realized through providing all staff the training needed to increase their skills and knowledge in a wide variety of DEIB topics.

The DEIB Education Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating training, building/maintaining systems and procedures, supporting learners, maintaining training records, and analyzing/reporting on training data. The coordinator will also facilitate DEIB trainings internally and externally. The person in this role will support the team by developing additional curriculum and reviewing external trainings to be added to existing offerings. The DEIB Education Coordinator will collaborate with the Data Storyteller in collecting and analyzing data related to DEIB work across the organization and will support the DEIB Training & Education Manager in coordinating grants and seeking out new funding opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $65,280 - $76,800 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to an organizational culture of respect, hope, and personal accountability regarding diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging
  • Schedule and coordinate trainings
  • Facilitate trainings in a variety of DEIB related topics
  • Manage DEIB related projects, programs, and grants
  • Promote cultural proficiency in all aspects of the organization's functions and programming
  • Coordinate community training relationships
  • Gather, analyze, and report on data related to trainings
  • Create opportunities to engage employees in cultural conversations, self-exploration, and intentional practices to grow their cultural proficiency
  • Coordinate and conduct curriculum development and grant-writing in collaboration with the DEIB Training and Education team
  • Support Roundtable discussions and Kaleidoscope Conversations
  • Support DEIB consultation, mediation, and professional development
  • Develop and coordinate internal and external communications
  • Serve on organizational and/or community committees
  • Collaborate on a variety of DEIB team projects
  • Present for community partners or at conferences
  • Support the development and administration of Employee Resource Groups
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Local and Regional Travel required

Strengths:

  • Excellent and engaging presentation/training skills in both virtual and in-person settings
  • Strong technology skills. (Zoom, Teams, Microsoft, PowerPoint, Camtasia, etc.)
  • Strong administrative skills – working with spreadsheets, developing and implementing standard operating procedures, scheduling, calendar management.
  • Experience with learning management systems (HealthStream)
  • Strong conflict management skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Comfort in challenging the status quo/disparities
  • Demonstrated ability to make DEIB concepts accessible and relevant to many different groups of people

  • Commitment to strengths-based, trauma informed approaches to training and collaboration
  • Fluency in ASL and/or Spanish a plus
  • LCSW or LPC or MSW with clinical experience a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences, communication, education, or other related field or equivalent experience

Experience

  • 3+ years of organizational administrative experience – calendars, spreadsheets, operating procedures, coordination, etc.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in a wide variety of DEIB topics
  • Demonstrated curriculum and training development experience
