Slate Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Psychiatric for a travel nursing job in Adair, Iowa.

Registered Nurse - Psychiatry-
Department Details:
Inpatient substance abuse treatment facility for 18+ ages.
Mustbe able to do CIWA/COWS,UAs and be able to set/hold firm empathic boundaries
Required Certifications: BLS and CPI
Required Experience: 6-12 months of priorexperience
Preferred experience: Psych exp.
Beds: 50(20 female/30 male)
Nurse/Patient ratio: 1 nurse on night shift; For the 7p-11p of the shift there are 2-3 BHA (techs) onshift. 11p-7 there is 1 tech on shift.
EMR: HCS - electronic.
Additional Information:
Voluntary patients, no restraints, Admin on call and.
Doctor on call at all times, no on-site security.
Visiting hours are Sundays1-4p.
Orientation is 2-3 days of 12 hourshifts training until comfortable.
Shift: 3-12hour shifts, weekends as assigned, every other holiday.
