Certification Details
• Required certifications include BLS from AHA, and either NBSTSA or NCCT for Surgical Technology.

Job Details
• Contract Nursing position available in Valley View Hospital.
• Schedule is 1500 - 0300, working 3-12 hours shifts per week with no call.
• Duties include assisting with vaginal deliveries under the direction of a Registered Nurse and provider, functioning as a Scrub Tech for surgical procedures, maintaining supplies and equipment on the unit, assisting with maintenance of Point of Care Testing and High-Level Disinfection equipment, and performing clerical and business support tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program required.
• Certification in Surgical Technology from the National Board Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Certification as a Tech in Surgery (CST) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association required.
• Current registration with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a surgical technologist for associates working in Colorado required.
• Agency's please submit resume, BLS (AHA), CO RN License, and NBSTSA or NCCT Certification with each candidate.

• Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility to be considered for a travel assignment.
