We are seeking a RN PACU to be responsible for independent peri-anesthetic management of a complex, varied surgical population. We are seeking an RN PACU to: Be responsible for independent peri-anesthetic management of a complex, varied surgical population Develop a therapeutic relationship by establishing trust and enabling the patient and/or family to verbalize the requirements for care comfortably.

Minimum Requirements: Facility Requirement: Traveler must have a permanent address outside a 50-mile radius of Madison (permanent address must be included in traveler's profile).
Experience working pre/post operatively with varied surgical patient populations Critical care background required.
Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years.
Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.
Successfully completed a traveler assignment (13 weeks).
Licensure and Certification: Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.
Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass the UW Health Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.
Travelers are the first to float. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete the contract.

UW Health is moving away from using outdated file formats for Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Profiles will need to be submitted in the following format: .docx, .xlsx and .pptx file types or our IS department will be blocking them and we will no longer receive the files nor able to forward internal to our hiring managers.
