Description

The Testing Associate provides front-line services to prospective and current students and assists them by providing the necessary materials and parameters in which to complete their test; ensure daily testing center functions run smoothly while helping students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Minimum Education and Experience

Two years of college and one year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with a diverse population; ability to work and interact with large constituency including students, faculty and office staff.

•Experience in managing confidential distribution of testing materials
•Testing related background
•Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
•Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information
•Reliable attendance
•Organizing and coordinating skills
•Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to various
situations prioritizing multiple work assignments simultaneously
•Intermediate computer skills, proficient in MS Office

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Greet and check in testing candidates.
· Verify identification and brief candidates on examination rules and procedures and distribute testing materials.  ·Prepare and organize testing materials in accordance with individual testing requirements and with established testing protocol and guidelines. · Verifies accuracy of test materials and prepares all associated documentation. · Assist in the enforcement of test security policies and procedures before, during, and after testing. · Provide general administrative assistance, to include answering phone inquiries and provision of information and assistance to walk-in students, faculty, and other customers. · Maintain records of following established guidelines and procedures. · Maintain security of all exams and materials by routinely keeping an inventory of materials, reviewing procedures for security, ensuring secure storage, and returning all tests and related materials to appropriate instructor and/or department · Perform all duties to maintain all standards in accordance with college policies, procedures, and core values. ·Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
