Position Description   The Naveen Jindal School of Management (JSOM) seeks applicants for an open rank (rank based on qualifications) non-tenure system faculty position (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Practice or of Instruction) in the Center for Internal Auditing Excellence, reporting to the Director. The program focuses on preparing students for careers in internal auditing, IT auditing, governance, risk management, cybersecurity, and accounting. Faculty members are responsible for developing curriculum, teaching prescribed courses as outlined by the degree plan, providing mentoring opportunities to students, and participating in student organization meetings and Center events.   The appointment commences for the summer 2025 semester.   Qualifications   Minimum Education and Experience: Qualified candidates should hold a master's degree, an active CPA license, and a CIA and/or CISA certification. Additionally, qualified candidates will have at least five years of experience in the internal auditing profession, with a progression to managerial positions within this industry. Candidates are expected to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, engaging, and dynamic environment comprised of individuals with a range of backgrounds, skills, and perspectives. We are seeking candidates able to deliver high quality teaching using evidence-based practices to effectively engage students from a range of backgrounds and experiences.   Preferred Education and Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. and at least ten years of experience in the internal auditing profession and who have progressed to managerial positions within this industry.     The Center for Internal Auditing Excellence   The UT Dallas Center for Internal Auditing Excellence at the Jindal School of Management leverages accounting, analytics, cybersecurity, and information technology courses to build a strong multidisciplinary program in internal auditing and risk management. The program has been endorsed by the Institute of Internal Auditors as a Center for Internal Auditing Excellence, the highest designation of the IIA. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence.
Prepare and teach undergraduate and/or graduate classes.
Contribute assessment information and data as requested.
Mentor and/or advise undergraduate and/or graduate students. 
Engage in service within the academic unit, the university, and the profession as appropriate based on teaching and research constraints.
Teach eight (8) classes each academic year.
