Reporting to the Jonsson School Assistant Dean of Development and Alumni Relations, this position supports the Assistant Dean and the Jonsson School development team. The successful candidate will work with the Jonsson School development and alumni relations team to support the activities of leadership annual giving and stewardship.

Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree; one year administration experience; or any equivalent combination of relevant education, training & experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and a desire for a career in fundraising. Preferred experience is at least 1 year experience in development, preferably in higher education. Candidates must also possess outstanding speaking, writing, and time-management skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support the Assistant Dean and team in their development and alumni relations work. Manage the Assistant Dean's calendar, support stewardship efforts, scheduling of donor visits, and event support. Support the Assistant Dean in identifying and stewarding a pool of individual prospects and documenting all prospect activity in the University's alumni and donor management database. In addition, this person will work closely with the Assistant Director of Operations to manage the development team's expenses, reimbursements, cost centers and budget for reconciliation and support the Assistant Director in other duties as needed.
The Development Associate will work directly with the Jonsson Development team to support a development and alumni relationship strategy focused on leadership annual giving donors and help strengthen the pipeline of major gift donors.
Additional Information
The position requires occasional evening/weekend hours and may require some travel.
Hybrid Remote Work Notice
Following the successful completion of an initial training period, a hybrid work schedule may be available, subject to business needs and departmental approval. Employees must be located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled and/or with 24-hour notice. Completion and approval of a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required, and use of personal computer, internet, and other standard equipment may be required. Remote work arrangements are subject to regular review and re-approval and may be canceled.
