UPMC in Central Pa. is seeking qualified Pulmonary Critical Care Physicians or Medical Intensivists to join our expanding practice. Become a part the multidisciplinary UPMC in Central Pa. team and grow in a well-supported, collegial environment.

Practice Details:

  • State-of-the-art ICUs
    • Med/Surg
    • CVICU
    • Neurological
  • 24/7 ICU APP/Resident staffing
  • Night coverage provided by Tele-ICU service
  • Multidisciplinary ICU team model: Pulmonary, Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, and Internal Medicine/subspecialty trained Intensivists
  • Intensivist driven percutaneous tracheostomy and PERT programs
  • Evolving neurovascular/stroke and mechanical circulatory assist programs
  • EPIC EMR
  • AMBU bronchoscopes, GlideScope, Sonosite XPorte ultrasound/echo in all ICUs
  • Graduate Medical Education: IM, EM, Anesthesia residents in ICUs, Critical Care Medicine Fellowship 7/23

Professional Skills:

  • BC/BE Pulmonary Critical Care or Medical Critical Care
  • ECMO training / experience required
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
  • Team oriented with ability to provide personalized patient care and demonstrate positive clinical outcomes
