UPMC Central Pa is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Provider to join the Cardiothoracic ICU team at our main campus in Harrisburg, PA

Position Details:

  • 14 shifts/month – block scheduling
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Team of 2 providers/shift
  • Census of 6-8 patients
  • No call
  • Triage, admissions, and consultation of patients directed to the intensive care unit
  • Actively co-manages critically ill patients including ventilator management, initiation of vasoactive medications, management of shock syndromes, acute myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, bleeding disorders, sepsis, postoperative patients, and other cardiac disorders
  • Support from a full range of specialists
  • System-wide EPIC EMR

Professional Skills:

  • Graduate of accredited CRNP or PA program
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Two years of experience working within an inpatient or critical care setting preferred
  • Experience in airway management, central and arterial line cannulation, and ultrasound preferred
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
  • Team-oriented with ability to provide personalized patient care and demonstrate positive clinical outcomes
