UPMC Central Pa is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Provider to join the Cardiothoracic ICU team at our main campus in Harrisburg, PA
Position Details:
- 14 shifts/month – block scheduling
- 12-hour shifts
- Team of 2 providers/shift
- Census of 6-8 patients
- No call
- Triage, admissions, and consultation of patients directed to the intensive care unit
- Actively co-manages critically ill patients including ventilator management, initiation of vasoactive medications, management of shock syndromes, acute myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, bleeding disorders, sepsis, postoperative patients, and other cardiac disorders
- Support from a full range of specialists
- System-wide EPIC EMR
Professional Skills:
- Graduate of accredited CRNP or PA program
- Ability to work autonomously
- Two years of experience working within an inpatient or critical care setting preferred
- Experience in airway management, central and arterial line cannulation, and ultrasound preferred
- Current ACLS certification
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
- Team-oriented with ability to provide personalized patient care and demonstrate positive clinical outcomes
