UofL Health's medical group, UofL Physicians is looking for an anesthesiologist-intensivist to join our Cardiovascular Surgical critical care team, currently comprised of six double-boarded critical care physicians and nine nurse practitioners in the UofL Jewish Hospital Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Our team partners closely with cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiologists, and numerous other specialists to collaboratively care for pre/post-surgical patients, patients in cardiogenic shock, critically ill patients supported by LVAD or who have undergone heart or lung transplant, patients support by ECMO and others with complex heart, aortic, or lung conditions. Candidates should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, an interest in medical education, and be able to lead a patient-focused multidisciplinary team. Not a J1 opportunity.
