Gynecologic Oncology Position
The Division of Gynecologic Oncology (GYN ONC) at the University of Louisville seeks one additional fellowship-trained physician to join our current faculty and provide clinical services at UofL Hospital, the outpatient clinic, and outreach hospital sites throughout the area. No obstetrical call is required.
- Our Minimally Invasive Gynecology (MIGS), general OB/GYN, and Maternal Fetal Medicine practices are located downtown.
- The East End clinic houses the Female Pelvic Medicine & Women's Health (FPMRS) division and the Pelvic Pain Center.
- GYN ONC provides in-patient and out-patient surgical services at local hospitals in addition to UofL Hospital, a Level I facility, and has access to multiple infusion sites through our Cancer Center.
The University of Louisville has access to robotic surgery, boasting one of the busiest programs in the region and access to the latest robotic technology. Additionally, the position can include a relationship with the the local VA Hospital, which contains an established GYN clinic and an underutilized Xi robot.
There are ample research opportunities including access to basic science labs, a departmental statistician, departmental librarian, and campus grant-writing services, as well as a clinical trials unit providing research nurses if funded. The position includes the opportunity to become Division Chief with potential to build an ACGME fellowship.
