Certification Details
• Government-Issued Photo ID Required
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required as applicable per Unit Description. Must be AHA
• BLS - Basic Life Support required as applicable per Unit Description. Must be AHA
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required as applicable per Unit Description. Must be AHA
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure required as applicable per Unit Description. Must be AHA
• State License 1 Verification required
• NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) required
• NIH Stroke Certification required as applicable per Unit Description

Job Details
• Must be predominantly 3/4 in Neuro skillset
• Day shift with POSSIBLE night shift rotation (0700-1930 day shift, 1900-0730 night shift)
• There is a possibility for off-shifting (1-3 shifts in a week) once every 4-week scheduling period, but there are a lot of times there is no off-shifting
• Block schedule CANNOT be accommodated
• Experience with a majority of the following General Surgery cases is required (RN may not always be in Ortho OR) - Lap chole, Lap appy, Ex lap, I&D, Bariatric, Colorectal, PEG & Trach, DaVinci cases
• Neuro Experience Required: Craniotomy with Aneurysms, Crianotomy with Tumor, Shunts, Retrosigmoid Crani with Tumor, Transsphenoidal Pituitary Resection, CSF Leak, Septoplasty, Mastoidectomy, Tympanoplasty, Direct Laryngology, Tracheotomy, Fusions (ACDF, TLIF, Spinal Fusions), Laminectomy, Corpectomy

Job Requirements
• 2 years of OR RN experience required
• BLS required
• First time travelers NOT accepted
• ENT and DaVinci experience highly preferred

Schedule Information
• Day shift with POSSIBLE night shift rotation
• Weeknight call requirements: 1-2 nights/week on average
• Weekend call requirements: Approx. every 4-5 weeks (24 hours Saturday OR Sunday, 1-2 days/month)

Additional Details
• Locals Accepted: NO (candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility)
• Parking: Professionals can obtain a parking permit (cost depends on the lot, but is approx. $55/month) or they can use daily rate parking ($3 to park for 20 hrs).
