Neuroscience MS/Tele Unit - 6 Neuro is a 48-bed unit caring for general medical surgical patients as well as patients suffering from neurological conditions. Eight of our beds are equipped for long term EEG monitoring. Our specialized patient population includes: strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions, brain and spinal cord tumors, and other neurological conditions.
Ratios are 1:5 days/1:6 nights. Depending on staffing, night ratios can be 1:7 (this is rare, but facility wants travelers to be aware).
Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN
First timers accepted
Drips are required on all units
EPIC charting experience required
Will float within scope to meet facility needs (this includes potentially floating to Bellevue campus)
100% NICOTINE FREE FACILITY
Locals Accepted: NO (candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility)
Pending license accepted: Yes, but if license is not IN HAND at the time of submission then traveler will be booked six weeks out.
RTO restrictions: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted. RTO must be submitted with application. Additional requests after confirmation at manager discretion.
Weekend Requirement: Two weekends in a four-week schedule period (Saturday/Sunday for day shift, Friday/Saturday for night shift).

2 years of prior Telemetry experience preferred (must have at least 2 completed assignments at a Level l Academic Medical Center or 1 year as core staff)
BLS, NIH required

Shifts may vary; night ratios can be up to 1:7.
