- Medical Surgical/Solid Organ Transplant Unit – SOTU is a 36-bed unit providing medical surgical/telemetry and progressive care to adult pre and post liver, kidney, pancreas, intestinal transplant patients and intestinal rehabilitation patients. Adolescent patients starting at the age of 15 are on the unit but are cared for by core staff only.
- Ratios are 1:5 days/1:6 nights.
- Job Requirements
- Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN
- 2 years of prior Telemetry experience preferred (must have 2 years experience in large, urban hospital)
- Drips are required on all floors
- First timers NOT accepted
- BLS, ACLS, NIH required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Will float within scope to meet facility needs
- Schedule Information
- Weekend Requirement: Two weekends in a four-week schedule period
- Facility requires all contracts to end on a SUNDAY. Work week is Monday-Sunday.
- No RTO during the first week of orientation.
- Travelers must attend a MANDATORY charting class the Friday of orientation week unless told otherwise by their unit/department manager.

- Locals Accepted: NO (candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility)
- Pending license accepted: Yes, but if license is not IN HAND at the time of submission then traveler will be booked six weeks out.
- RTO restrictions: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted.
