Description
The Life Support Learning Center (LSLC) simulation program is expanding! Our certified simulationist RN leads a team to deliver high fidelity clinical scenarios in the adult, pediatric, inpatient, ambulatory, and procedural areas. We facilitate a holistic approach that incorporates the entire care team (tech/RN/APP/MD); custom clinical scenarios are appropriately built for the emergency, medical, trauma and operative environments, and we take our mobile program to the clinicians in their actual work environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background (ideally in emergency and/or critical care), basic IT knowledge, creativity, and a strong aptitude for real time problem solving. We have a culture that supports the learning needs of all experience levels, while maintaining accountability for the learning objectives. A candidate who has a proactive approach to learning and helping providers of all clinical levels to excel, will be highly valued.
The LSLC simulation program began in 2013 with one mannequin and conducted 32 simulations the first year. Ten years later in 2023 we conducted 190 simulations for 1,787 participants. We have adult, child, and infant high–fidelity mannequins as well as simulated monitors and creative props that add realism to the simulations.
