The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Minnesota seeks Academic Anesthesiologists to join our growing practice in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. Our department includes more than 60 anesthesiologists with training in all subspecialty areas providing care across the entire spectrum of modern perioperative medicine.

Position Highlights

• Opportunities for ABA board-certified/eligible critical care anesthesiologists to care for patients in our medical, surgical, and cardiothoracic intensive care units and general and subspecialty anesthesiology. We practice at the University of Minnesota Medical Center and other affiliated sites in Minneapolis-Saint Paul – a large metropolitan area with over 3 million people.
• We offer a strong family and team environment, commitment to clinical excellence, and outstanding training for our 40 residents, 10 fellows, and medical students.
• Excellent work/life balance with up to 7 weeks off per year and up to 8 weeks of non-clinical time per year (post-call and academic time).
