The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria is seeking a Urogynecologist who is Board-certified/Board-eligible in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery to join an expanding academic department. Position Summary

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Peoria campus of the University of Illinois College of Medicine seeks a full-time Urogynecologist to provide comprehensive health care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, including actively participating in the educational and clinical training of residents and medical students.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in Urogynecology, encompassing both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Actively participate in the teaching, training, mentoring, and precepting of OB/GYN residents and medical students.
  • Engage in scholarly activity.
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Board-certified/board-eligible in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to teach residents and medical students.
  • Experience or interest in research and academic leadership.
