The Support Services Team Lead - Laboratory plays a key role in providing the highest quality of patient care while the patient is at Union Health.
 

The Lab provides services related to lab tests, including specimen collection of the patients, and accessioning, lab tests performed on specimens, recording of lab test results, delivery of lab test results and more.

Support Services Team Lead - Laboratory

Job Duties:

·  Receives specimens delivered to the laboratory

·  Enters outpatient laboratory orders

·  Centrifuges specimens

·  Classifies and labels samples

·  Aliquots specimens

·  Receives specimens from outside sites and enters orders

·  Distributes samples to testing areas

·  Enters orders for drug screens

·  Prepares supply orders

·  Collects miscellaneous test billing information

·  Assists with training and competencies of new employees


License/Certification:

  1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
