Part-time General Surgery Opportunity in Western, NC
Caldwell UNC Health is the choice for health care in Caldwell County. The Emergency Department sees approximately 30,000 + visits a year. Caldwell Physician Network provides the majority of primary care and select specialty care to our market from thirteen separate medical park locations throughout the county. Our 137-bed licensed hospital is a member of the UNC Health System. We are seeking a personable and engaging part-time general surgeon to join our team!
Position Information:
- Part-time
- UNC Surgical Associates- 401 Mulberry St SW, Lenoir, NC or 160 River Bend Drive, Granite Falls, NC (potentially rotating to both)
- Predicted schedule- 18-20 hours per week or 36-40 hours every other week (predicted 8-10 days per month total with a mix of clinic and OR)
- Call- Hospital/ED call is 5 days per month, in a call rotation with 3 other surgeons. APP would assist with first call during clinic hours.
- Strong CPN network and referral base
- Current providers include 3 physicians, 1 APP and actively recruiting a full-time physician as well
