The Division of Dermatology in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking applicants for full-time clinician educators at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate and full Professor ranks in an academic setting across our network of campus and community practices for medical dermatology and pediatric dermatology. Our locations include San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Calabasas, Westwood, Santa Monica, Burbank, Century City, Encino, Redondo Beach, Santa Clarita, Thousand Oaks and Torrance. Responsibilities include a minimum of 32 hours per week of direct patient care, supervision of trainees and academic contributions. In addition, the position requires participation and creativity in a variety of professional activities including those that involve teaching, research and administration.

An M.D. or D.O. is required. The successful candidate must be board certified by the American Board of Dermatology or board eligible to sit for the exam and have an excellent record of clinical activity in medical dermatology. The candidate must have graduated from an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency.

The posted UC salary scales [https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/compensation/index.html] set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The salary range for this position is $134,700-$655,000. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan [https://ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf], which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
