Description

Certification Details
• AHA and RQI certifications only.
• Instructor cards are not acceptable.
• Must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
• Non-Clinical Placements: BLS is not required unless stated on the unit description.
• PER DIEM: Required for various tech positions (e.g., Interventional Radiology Techs, Radiation Therapists, and Pharmacy Techs).

Job Details
• Manager will allow a maximum of 3 days of Requested Time Off (RTO).
• Must have 3 years of ER experience with no exceptions.
• No first-time travelers.
• Emergency CA license OK.
• RN will float within the ER areas which includes ER holding, if needed.
• Level 1 trauma preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated prior to start date and able to provide documentation.

Job Requirements
• REQUIRED SKILLS: IV start, Telemetry (Tele), Phlebotomy, Conscious sedation, EKG.
• Must have PALS and CPI Blue Card from Crisis Prevention Institute in hand at time of submission.

Schedule Information
• RTO must be on submittal and cannot be changed once sent to UCI for review.
• No more than 7 days of RTO in a 13-week contract is highly preferred.
• No RTO during the first 2 weeks of assignment.

Unit Specific Information
• Cost Center 427231 has several Unit Descriptions depending on the specialty (ED, MS/Tele in ER, ICU in ER).

Additional Details
• SUBS: attestation is acceptable.
• Government-issued photo ID required.
• Required certifications are listed in the Unit Description according to Cost Center number.
• Signed HIPAA acknowledgement is required for all candidates.
