Summary of Job Duties: Under direct supervision, provides accurate and timely troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical lock hardware and systems. Perform installations of mechanical and electronic control systems, which may include door access control, mechanical locks, keypads, electronic locks, Wi-Fi locks, and associated hardware. Responds to situations where lock hardware or systems have failed and action must be taken to isolate or repair problem equipment, or software, or make configuration changes to return locking systems to full functionality. Process key requests and issue keys and ensure that the Simple K platform is kept up to date.
**This position participates in a group 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year on-call rotation where each member of the group takes call for 1 week at a time.**
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED with 5 years Cabling, low voltage systems, carpentry/building maint., mechanical/electronic lock systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
- Customer Service experience.
