TRA Utilization Review
TRA is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts. Receive a greater level of Contract security compared to with an outside agency.
The RN Utilization Review is repsonsible for integrates national standards for case management scope of services including Utilization Management supporting medical necessity and denial prevention, coordination with payers to authorize appropriate level of care and length of stay for medically necessary services required for the patient, compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements, TJC accreditation standards and Tenet policy. Also, Education provided to payers, physicians, hospital/office staff and ancillary departments related to covered services and administration of benefits.
Schedule:
- This position is remote; however, must have a California state nursing license to service hospitals and patient files in California.
Preferred Education
Bachlor of Science in Nursing
Minimum Experience
Must have at least 2 years acute care experience and at least one year of Utilization Review Experience
Required Certification/Licensure
- California State License
-BLS
