TriHealth in Cincinnati, Ohio, is actively recruiting an Intensivist to join our multi-disciplinary Critical Care team at one of our large acute care hospitals, Bethesda North. Our Bethesda North Hospital group consists of Anesthesia, Emergency, Surgical, Pulmonary and Neuro Intensivist physicians. ICU Hospitalists, Physician Assistants and Advanced Nurse Practitioners serve as vital, additional members of our professional, collaborative team.
Our hospital has the highest volume of cardiac cases, academic and private, in the city. We perform VV and VA ECMO and are currently managing Impellas. We implanted our first VAD in early 2022. We are specifically looking for a colleague with experience and interested in staffing the Cardiovascular ICU. Our CVICU intensivists support our accomplished, collegial Cardio Thoracic Surgeons, Vascular Surgeons and Cardiologists.
Minimum requirements include:
- Board-Certified MD or DO with current licensure
- Critical Care fellowship training along with professional healthcare experience
- Mechanical support, percutaneous and implantable VAD, and ECMO experience required
- Demonstrated experience managing CVICU patients is preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS)
