The Project Coordinator is responsible for performing administrative assignments for Transwestern.  This position will primarily manage project documentation and coordinate documentation changes and distributions. It is the responsibility of the Project Coordinator to accomplish responsibilities within Transwestern quality standards and corporate goals and in a manner that helps maximize the efficiency of the group and the value of the assigned properties. 

 

It is also the responsibility of the Project Coordinator not only to exhibit legendary customer service when communicating with tenants, prospective tenants, owners, and vendors but also to focus on productivity and results.

 

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide internal client support for project teams.

  • Manage aspects of projects related to schedules, contracts, and finances.

  • Manage internal projects to improve team processes and efficiencies.

  • Build process and workflows around various project types.

  • Prepare project management meeting notes and reports.

  • Manage all project documentation.

  • Be able to navigate somewhat ambiguous situations, identify and solve for blockers, and know when to escalate projects to keep things moving forward.

  • Gain buy-in from stakeholders to execute projects and maintain accountability.

  • Partner with leadership to execute ideas and problem-solve issues.

  • Administrative duties but not limited to copying, travel arrangements, expense report preparations.

  • Support project managers on projects and assignments.

  • Marketing functions including presentations, RFQ responses, and other duties as assigned.

  • Responsible for smaller marketing functions including presentations, responses to proposals and research.

  • Proactively manage project-related issues on account or assignment.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all project management technology as required for assigned projects.

  • Ensure client, architect, and subcontractor expectations are exceeded.

  • Additional assignments as assigned.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Business, Interior Design, Engineering or Construction preferred.

  • PMP and/or LEED AP preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of practical field project management experience within a real estate, design, construction industries.

  • Must have experience/skills in construction Project Management (architecture, general contracting, construction estimation, scheduling, engineering, design/permitting process, bid development, contract and/or sub-contract management

  • Computer proficient, including knowledge in the following programs: Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project), Adobe Creative Suites including InDesign and Illustrator.

  • Highly organized.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000
