Transplant Leadership Institute has been engaged by Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee to identify and recruit a board eligible/board certified Cardiac Critical Care physician to join the Baptist Heart Institute, one of the nation's leading innovators in clinical care, as a Director of Cardiac Intensivists. Baptist Memorial Hospital – a 706 bed Tertiary Care Center located in a beautiful suburban-style area of Memphis is home to one of the few adult heart transplant programs in the mid-south. They have performed more than 400 adult heart transplants and implanted more than 360 ventricular assist devices.
This position will care for patients with complex cardiovascular disease which can include pre- and postoperative care, heart transplant and/or a Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD), and acute mechanical circulatory support (ECMO and intra-aortic balloon pumps) and cardiogenic shock. This cardiologist will supervise a team of cardiac intensivists in a rapidly growing program.
