- Job Details
- The Registered Nurse (RN) manages and coordinates the nursing care activities during the client's hospitalization in accordance with organization policies and procedures.
- This includes assessment, diagnosis, planning and establishing outcomes, implementation, and evaluation.
- The RN directs and is responsible for other personnel involved in client care.
- The RN maintains professional accountability for all nursing care provided to clients in the organization.
- Demonstrates competency in nursing judgment.
- Maintains awareness of economic barriers of health care and acts accordingly.
- Demonstrates knowledge of nursing care needs and treatments for clients of various clinical specialties in compliance with established standards of nursing practice.
- Will be required to work with clients 18 years of age and older.
- Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Illinois license.
- B.S.N. preferred or equivalent years of experience.
- BLS certification required.
- Demonstrates clinical competence.
- Assumes responsibility for own continued personal and professional growth.

- Adheres to nursing staffing and scheduling policy (to include use of overtime).
