Clinical Informatics Nurse Position Summary
The Clinical Informatics Nurse is responsible for providing support to designated Clinical Departments in utilizing clinical applications to achieve desired outcomes. The informatics nurse serves as a resource for daily operational application needs, working closely with users, analysts, and other departments or teams as indicated. May assist or lead teams to analyze workflow, design/redesign systems, evaluate data, develop and deliver training, and support for application related needs.
Clinical Informatics Nurse Position Requirements
Education
- BS in Nursing required.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Current active RN license in Maryland or compact state
- Certification in Informatics or Health Information Management Systems preferred
Experience
- 3 years of recent clinical experience in an acute setting.
- Recent experience with clinical information systems used for patient care and documentation.
- Proficiency with word processing, keyboarding, spread sheets, presentation graphics, email, internet, & telecommunication devices.
Clinical Informatics Nurse Schedule
- Monday - Friday 8am to 4pm. Evening, night, and weekend hours required during special projects or circumstances
- This will be a hybrid work environment. 60% remote and 40% onsite
Clinical Informatics Nurse Benefits

At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
