Lead Patient Service Representative Position Summary



The Lead Patient Service Representative serves as the lead staff member in the practice, while working as a patient service representative. This position is responsible for assisting with on-the-job training of new staff, and serves as the first-line resource in regard to procedures, issues, and Epic. The Lead PSR, under direction of the Practice Manager or Supervisor, will assist in the development and implementation of objectives, policies, and procedures for the operational aspects of the practice.



Lead Patient Service Representative Position Requirements



Education



    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.


Experience



    • One to three years of previous experience in a healthcare environment required.

    • Previous training/teaching/mentoring or supervisor/lead experience preferred.

    • Electronic health record experience required. Experience with Microsoft Word and/or Excel preferred.


Lead Patient Service Representative Schedule



    • Day shift, Monday through Friday. Schedule may expand to cover evenings or weekends. In the Immediate Care clinics 8 or 12 hour shifts to include evenings, weekends and holidays.

    • Expected to respond in the event of a disaster


Lead Patient Service Representative Benefits




    • At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
