Imaging Aide Position Summary/Requirements
The Imaging aide supports the workflow of the Echocardiology Department. The Imaging Aide in Echo receives information regarding pending echo orders, answers telephone and provides general information to nursing and procedural areas. This position also transports patients to and from the echo department and assists patients when indicated; and enters requests for central transport staff if multiple patients need to be transported at same time.
Education
- High School graduate or equivalent, basic computer knowledge, and above average organizational skills.
- Exceptions: Will consider a high school senior in good academic standing, with an anticipated graduation within a year of hire.
- Ability to read and communicate in the English language
Experience
- Experience with a computer is preferred
Imaging Aide Work Schedule
- Flexibility in hours of work to meet job requirements
- Typically Monday through Friday, but may have rotation to include Saturday or Sunday.
- Overtime as necessary or requested by Supervisor
Imaging Aide Benefits
