General Surgery Coordinator Position Summary



The General Surgery Coordinator performs diversified duties required to organize and coordinate the care of the General Surgery patients. The General Surgery Coordinator will guide the progression of care from the pre-operative phase to completion of post-acute services. Accountability includes planning, performance improvement and input to the development of services and programs to meet the specific needs of the General Surgery patient population, and facilitating outcomes data collection.



General Surgery Coordinator Position Requirements



    • Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse. Must hold a license in the state of permanent residency.

    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required

    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

    • Minimum of three years of full-time work experience in healthcare

    • Exempt position

    • At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
