Certified Pharmacy Technician Position Summary



Pharmacy technician assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Pharmacy technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. The inventory, distribution/inventory of medications may be required.



Certified Pharmacy Technician Position Requirements



TidalHealth Peninsula Regional



    • Registered by the Maryland State Board of Pharmacy to practice as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Maryland within 1 month from date of hire, transfer date if internal candidate, or upon certification through an accredited National Certification Board and must follow all regulations as per those regulations.


TidalHealth Peninsula Regional and TidalHealth Nanticoke



    • Certification through accredited National Certification Board.

    • Valid driver's license and verification of insurability under TidalHealth's automobile insurance plan.


Certified Pharmacy Technician Benefits
