Responsibilities Desert View Hospital is a 25-bed, acute care hospital set in a rural community. Desert View provides safe and competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. We provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. Job Description: Responsible for the 24 hour management of the assigned unit assuring patient care meets the standard of care. Qualifications Job Requirements: Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, BSN required. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years OR/Surgical Services clinical experience required and one (1) to two (2) years progressive management experience required. License/Certification: Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification. Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
