Responsibilities Valley Health Specialty Hospital is the first orthopedic surgery and inpatient rehabilitation facility in the Las Vegas area. The Valley Health Specialty Hospital is the first of its kind to offer both specialty orthopedics and inpatient rehab in one location. Job Description: Responsible for the timely preparation, seasoning and cooking of food for patients, employees, physicians and visitors. Performs similar or related duties. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Graduate from a formal school specializing in institutional cooking preferred. Experience: Previous experience preferred. License/Certification: Current Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card. Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
