- Adheres to hospital policies and procedures and is knowledgeable about patient safety.
- Able to recognize safety issues in the department and handles incidents per institutional and/or departmental policies and procedures. If safety issues were identified; all issues were handled timely and appropriately.
- Maintains ability to use the EMR, RIS, and PACS
- Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of equipment and area.
- Secures and maintains necessary supplies for the area.
- Coordinates scheduling and transport of patients.
- In the absence of Manager or Lead Technologist, may be designated as acting lead technologist.
- Performs other related duties.
