The state supported living centers serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are medically fragile or who have behavioral problems. The Incident Management Coordinator (IMC) works under the direct supervision of the Facility Director. The IMC will supervise program planning and implementation of the Incident Management process and structure for the facility, to ensure effective decisions are made during the investigation of unusual incidents, crisis situations, staff coverage, and health/safety concerns. The IMC will identify, report, investigate, and enforce remedial actions for all unusual incidents as well as oversee and ensure quality control of the investigative process along with analysis of data related to unusual incidents and follow-up tracking of all recommendations for completion. Reviews all investigations including the written report, together with any other relevant documentation to ensure the investigation is thorough and complete and the report is accurate, coherent and meets compliance with certification requirements, regulations, policies, and procedures. The IMC will coordinate all activities related to the daily review meetings which include investigations, corrective action plans, recommendations, and minutes. Coordinates all critical incident team reviews and any required root cause analysis reviews or required corrective action plans and recommendations. Supervises and trains facility investigators, campus administrators, and other staff as needed. Works under general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Some travel may be required, and work schedule may vary depending on services needed.
