The Opportunity:
Tech2 Solutions (T2S) is a critical subcontractor on the N3B Los Alamos LLC team and will be providing program management and technical services in support of the ground & surface water monitoring program at the U.S. Department of Energy's Los Alamos National Laboratory.

T2S is adding a Deputy Director to oversee the execution of the Water Program at the Los Alamos Legacy Cleanup project in Los Alamos, New Mexico.

Your Role:
- Working with the Program Director and to provide leadership and a vision for safe, compliant and cost-effective execution of the Water Program at Los Alamos.
- Verifies the implementation of safety and quality programs throughout all aspects of the Water Program including our numerous projects in the field.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with client representatives and key decision makers while achieving high level of client satisfaction in all areas of performance.
- Lead development of regulatory strategies and interface with the regulators.
- Lead preparation and negotiation of performance-based incentives and prepare the quarterly award fee self-assessment in accordance with a Performance Evaluation Management Plan.
- Verify field operations activities in accordance with the processes and procedures including the quality and safety requirements of the project.
- Lead and maintain a strong safety culture and comply with all health & safety policies and subcontract requirements.
- Ensure proper execution of the project including planning, scheduling, procurement, project controls and financial performance and compliance with company procedures.
- Manage and mentor staff to enrich the careers of the team and to develop a collaborative culture on site.
- In conjunction with the project leads develop, plan and execute business goals and objectives which support the project team, financial milestones, and the client.
- Maintain appropriate oversight of subcontractors ensuring excellent performance and compliance.
- Grow the business through development of a strong network of business partnerships
- Develop community relationships through outreach.
- Assure business practices align with Contract terms including Earned Value Management compliance.
- Assure all financial metrics are met and maximized through sound financial management.
- Coordinate with all service leads, HR, Finance, Contracts, Procurement, in managing the detailed aspects of the project.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years in a consulting environment with strong project management and operations experience
- The candidate will have a BS or BA degree in an engineering or geo-science field Master preferred.
- Preferred background in Environmental Remediation work including Water Monitoring/Compliance and Drilling
- Long-term record of successful business relationships with federal government clients and teaming partners
- Familiarity with Department of Energy regulations and requirements, contracting practices, and cleanup site conduct of operations
- Ability to obtain a DOE Q Clearance
- Federal Acquisition Regulations knowledge preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
