Tetra Tech Inc. Disaster Recovery (TDR) is currently seeking a Regional Supervisor for a disaster recovery program for the state of Georgia. The successful candidate will provide crucial support to individuals and communities impacted by natural disasters. We work to ensure that those affected receive timely assistance, accurate information, and compassionate support.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Regional Lead to join our team. The Regional Lead will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple sheltering facilities across a large geographic area, providing leadership and support to a team of Shelter Coordinator Supervisors and their respective teams. This position requires excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and crisis management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

o Supervision and Leadership: Provide guidance, direction, and supervision to Shelter Coordinator Supervisors and their teams across multiple shelter locations.

o Training: Provide training to staff and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Evaluate and update training materials and resources as needed.

o Resource Management: Ensure the availability and proper allocation of resources across all shelters in the region.

o Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts among shelter residents and staff, seeking peaceful resolutions and maintaining a safe and respectful environment.

o Reporting: Maintain accurate records of shelter activities and incidents. Prepare shift reports and share essential information.

o Incident Response: Act as a point of contact during incidents and implement protocols as necessary.

o Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to improve shelter operations and enhance service delivery across the region.

o Prior case management experience is required but, a minimum of 4 years of prior experience is preferred.

o Must have reliable transportation.

o Have a valid driver's license.

o Must be able to drive during operating hours to visit shelter locations.

o Must have 7-10 years of supervisory experience, social work experience preferred.

o Strong leadership and communication skills.

o Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle crisis situations effectively.

o Knowledge of social services resources and support systems.

o Certified Social Worker (preferred)

o Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).

o Proficient in MS Office.

Standard Schedule:

o This is a temporary assignment

o Monday to Friday

o 8am – 5pm

o Work on the weekends may be required

In order to be considered for this position, your driving record must not indicate any of the following during the past 3 years:

o Punitive suspension, denial, or revocation of driver's license

o Conviction for impaired or intoxicated driving (DWAI, DUI, DWI)

o Conviction of reckless driving, driving with a suspended/denied/revoked license, hit and run or leaving the scene

o Conviction of 3 or more moving violations, at fault accidents or a combination

Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary

Pay Rate: Range $30-$35 per hour, dependent on experience.
