The Opportunity:
Tetra Tech is adding a Project Services Manager our team. Location is flexible with San Diego, CA being preferred. Home-based work locations are permitted, but reliable Internet service is essential.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within our organization.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management methodologies and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. As a Project Services Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that all project deliverables meet our high standards of quality and compliance. You will be instrumental in establishing project governance frameworks, enhancing project performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Working with stakeholders at various levels, you will be tasked with managing project risks and addressing challenges proactively. Exceptional communication and leadership skills are essential, as you will mentor and support project teams while also engaging with external partners and clients. Your Role:
• Lead and manage project teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Establish and enforce project governance frameworks and best practices.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
• Communicate project status, issues, and achievements to stakeholders and executive management.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
• Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, ensuring clear agenda and documentation of key decisions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a leadership role.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of project management software and tools.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.

Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience.
Salary Range: $120k-$145k
A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.
