The Opportunity:
Cosentini Associates, a Tetra Tech company, is adding a Marketing Co-op Intern (Hybrid) to our Marketing team based in New York. As part of Tetra Tech's High Performance Buildings Group, Cosentini Associates brings together the expertise of talented engineers, and architects from around the world. We offer high-end, sustainable building consulting and MEP engineering services for blue-chip clients across every building sector. Our services include MEP design, Net Zero Energy, lighting design, commissioning, vertical transportation, low voltage, information technologies, security, audiovisual, code consulting/fire engineering, sustainability consulting, and acoustics. As a Marketing Co-Op, you will gain hands-on experience across a spectrum of marketing and graphics activities in support of building Cosentini's brand profile to include attracting clients, building a strong internal culture, and making a difference in the community! Additionally, you will work closely with the marketing department and executive management to provide general support for the firm's marketing and business development efforts.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, photo editing experience, graphic and writing capabilities, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment and be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously. Resourceful and responsible, the candidate should be enthusiastic about taking on new challenges and contributing to a talented team working in a dynamic, creative environment. Your Role:
• Assisting with creating and maintaining firm collateral such as project pages, project lists, resumes, databases, and digital archives.
• Assisting in the preparation of social media posts highlighting Cosentini projects and company events.
• Writing, editing, and coordinating proposal sections and general marketing correspondence.
• Collaborating with senior management and technical personnel to develop targeted proposals.
• Assisting with preparation of PowerPoint presentations for marketing and educational presentations.
• Working with marketing staff in other offices
• Working collaboratively with firm principals and other members of our marketing team to innovate the way in which the office pursues new commissions.
• Additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
• Pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, photography, graphic design, or related field
• Well-organized, persistent, tactful, and enthusiastic.
• Works well with all types and levels of people, without close supervision.
• Excellent communications and English grammar skills, including writing and editing of technical materials.
• Demonstrated understanding of marketing, business development and public relations.
• Strong interpersonal and organization skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite 5 (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

Compensation:
Pay commensurate with experience.
Pay Range: $20.00/hour
