Project Summary:

PRO-telligent supports the U.S. Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) plans to fund a Justice Sector Assistance Program (JSAP) in the West Bank. It will focus on providing technical support, capacity-building and logistical support to key stakeholders in the Palestinian justice sector, including but not limited to law enforcement, the public prosecution, judicial institutions, and security agencies.

 

**Please note: Only West Bank-Gaza residents are eligible for this position**

 

Position Summary:

The Logistics Specialist will be stationed in Ramallah. This role will be responsible for coordinating logistics for office start-up and project activity implementation. The Specialist will play an integral role in procuring suppliers, equipment, and vendors in accordance with PRO-telligent and Tetra Tech policies.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide logistical and administrative support to teams.
  • Support project travel and materials delivery for the office and activity implementation.
  • Work with the finance and administrative team to secure vendors, suppliers, and equipment needed for office and activity implementation.
  • Oversee the acquisition of new equipment in accordance with Tetra Tech's ISO 9001:2015-certified and Federal Acquisition Regulation- (FAR-) compliant Purchasing Operations Handbook.
  • Obtain competitive bids/quotations for all major and bulk purchases and produce price analysis summary sheet for the approval of the member in charge.
  • Coordinate personnel and partner travel as needed for the office in Ramallah.
  • Check and control Travel Authorization Forms.
  • Perform other operational related duties as assigned by Senior Director of Operations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field is required.
  • Minimum three years of related experience working in project financial and administrative management required.
  • Experience managing the finances and administration of a US State Department funded projects preferred.
  • Knowledge of US State Department policies and business practices preferred.
  • Familiarity and experience working with vendors and suppliers in the West Bank.
  • Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite programs, such as Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
  • Strong communication, adaptability, proactive problem-solving, service-oriented, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to work effectively and harmoniously under pressure in a stressful environment and with colleagues from different cultural and professional backgrounds required.
  • Fluency in Arabic and proficiency in English required.
