RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Maintain and turn in daily reports for specific projects to the Operations Manager.
  • Track man hours, labor and material cost on projects to make sure we are executing the project within our estimated hours and budget.
  • Collaborate with other departments for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
  • Conduct bid walks and prepare material and labor estimates per bid.
  • Assist with managing fleet assets and enforce safety policy and culture.
  • Participate in bid review meetings with the operations manager and the Director of I&E.
  • Interface with existing customers and develop new customers for the operation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Fifteen (15) years of electrical experience in the Industrial Oil & Gas industry for the field of instrumentation and electrical.
  • Bachelor's Degree or a technical diploma is a plus.
  • Possess project management skillsets for tracking project financials, burn rates, quality control, field supervision, and production of all phases of installation of electrical systems.
  • Ability to work with current vendors and negotiate competitive pricing. 
  • Must be willing to travel, if needed.
  • Master licensed Electrician in the states of Texas and New Mexico are a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook).

  • Must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and excellent communication (written and oral) skills.
  • Strong problem solving, technical, and functional skills with the ability to multi-task and be willing to learn.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively, take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations and field personnel.
  • Ability to multitask and demonstrate flexibility in managing multiple projects.
  • Effectively communicate with customer representatives in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure to ensure client expectations.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work.

  • Amp probe
  • Calibration equipment (Hart, Crystal, loop calibrator, etc.)
  • Handheld Electrical tools needed to perform his or her job duties.
WORK CONDITIONS:
  • Position will work primarily in a typical office environment. Subject to time pressures and constraints and is also dependent on input from others. 
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Subject to a background check, as well as drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations.
