Project Summary:
PRO-telligent supports the U.S. Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) to implement a Justice Sector Assistance Program (JSAP) in the West Bank. It focuses on providing technical support, capacity-building and logistical support to key stakeholders in the Palestinian justice sector, including but not limited to law enforcement, the public prosecution, judicial institutions and security agencies.

Position Summary:
The Field Officer will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the implementation of JSAP project activities. The Field Officer will work closely with key stakeholders from the Attorney General's Office (AGO), public prosecution offices, law enforcement institutions, and other justice sector partners. The Field Officer will ensure compliance with PRO-telligent and Tetra Tech Duty of Care Standards. The Field Officer will be supervised by the Deputy Chief of Team and will be based in Ramallah.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of project activities in the field.
- Facilitate communication and information sharing among project teams and counterparts to promote engagement and ownership of project initiatives.
- Identify technical opportunities and challenges in justice processes related to anti-money laundering, cybercrimes, and other focus areas.
- Assist in capacity building activities for targeted counterparts in coordination with the project team.
- Report on challenges and gaps identified in the field to adjust project plans and schedules accordingly.
- Collect and compile data from counterparts in accordance with project requirements.
- Contribute to the preparation of project reports and support project administration.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Deputy Chief of Team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, law, public administration, or related field is required. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum four years of related experience in development projects required, preferably within the justice sector.
- Experience in coordinating and supporting justice sector projects.
- Experience providing technical support under U.S. State Department funded projects preferred.
- Familiarity and experience working in the West Bank required.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, required.
- Strong adaptability, communication, proactive problem-solving, service-oriented, and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to work effectively and harmoniously under pressure in a stressful environment and with colleagues from different cultural and professional backgrounds required.
- Fluency in Arabic and proficiency in English required.
