Project Summary:
The Jordan Public Accountability and Justice Strengthening Activity (PAJ) is designed to strengthen accountability systems, procedures, and mechanisms within the Government of Jordan and judicial institutions and enhance their ability to serve and communicate effectively with the public. It also fosters awareness and pressure by civil society organizations, the public, and the private sector on the government's adherence to the law and its international commitments to govern in an accountable manner that safeguards the rights of vulnerable populations. Position Summary:
The Field Coordinator will assist the PAJ Activity and will carry out duties designed to meet the objectives of the project such as communicating with stakeholders, monitoring field operations, supporting data collection and facilitating communication between the project team and local partners. The Field Coordinator will work under the technical supervision of the Component Two Leader.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative and logistic assistance to the Justice Sector and Public Sector components, including organizing meetings andevents, preparing reports, handling correspondences, and managing documentation.
- Serve as a liaison between the main office and field teams, ensuring smooth communication and coordination across various stakeholders, including PAJ leadership, Justice Sector and public sector staffs, and external partners.
- Coordinate the logistics for events, trainings, workshops, and meetings.
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic records, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements, and supporting the efficient retrieval of administrative documents.
- Assist in the re-engineering and streamlining of administrative processes.
- Track the progress of various activities and projects, preparing regular reports on status, challenges, and achievements to share with senior advisors and top management.
- Perform any additional administrative tasks as required by the Component Leader or other senior advisors to support the overall mission of the Justice and Public Sector teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field, such as industrial engineering, or business administration required.
- Minimum one year of experience supporting similar justice sector programs required. Experience with International Non-Governmental Organizations preferred.
- Experience working with Microsoft Suite, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication, analytical, reporting and computer skills.
- Fluency in Arabic required. Proficiency in English preferred.
