The Opportunity
Tetra Tech is looking for a full-time Environmental Project Manager based in Pennsylvania.  

Your Role
The selected candidate will:
•    Manage multiple hazardous materials (asbestos, lead paint, mold, universal wastes, etc.) projects simultaneously for government clients including surveys, preparation of technical specifications, and third-party oversight work.
•    Prepare various sized technical reports (some examples – third party oversight reports, completion reports, Phase I and II's, remedial work plans, facility assessment tools)
•    Determine federal, state and local environmental laws and statutes for projects nationwide. 
•    Provide professional expertise in technical and administrative support for identification, documentation and notifications related to releases, and regulatory compliance.
•    Conduct surveys – AHERA, renovation/demolition, emergency response/recovery (ex wildfires, floods, hurricanes, hazmat spills etc.), condition assessments, 
•    Develop work scopes and prepare proposals.
•    Manage and leading field teams and subcontractors.
•    Coordinate logistics for emergency response and client infrastructure support.
•    Coordination of generators, fueling, and heating projects.

Qualifications
•    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 20 years of professional project management, environmental health and safety consulting, and environmental science experience.

•    Problem solving and management skills with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with colleges, clients, project teams, contractors and sub-contractors.

•    Highly motivated, client focused, and works well in a team environment.


Degree / Certifications
•    Bachelor degree or higher preferred in environmental sciences or physical sciences (e.g., geology, biology, hydrology, health physics) from an accredited United States college or university. 
•    Industrial Hygiene Management certification, EPA HERA Building Inspection License, EPA Lead Inspector, 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and 30-hour OSHA Construction Safety certification are a plus. 

Work Environment
This position requires roughly 10% travel. You must be able to: 
•    The work may require the use of protective clothing for field mobilizations.
•    Work at a computer
•    This position requires you to be able to drive.  Passing a motor vehicle record background check and maintaining a valid driver's license and good driving record is required.

The Salary Range for this position is $90,000 - $108000, depending on education, experience, skills, and location.
